Cesar Manrique Foundation

The Cesar Manrique Foundation is the former house of the renowned late artist Cesar Manrique. A really unique house design built incorporating volcanic lava tunnels and blow holes to create a subterranean level, it is now a museum. It houses an interesting collection of artwork as well as pieces by the extraordinary man himself, who as well as being an accomplished artist was a primary mover in ensuring Lanzarote retained its cultural and design heritage hen "going tourist".
